Public colleges and universities in dozens of states are focusing on co-requisite remediation as a means of moving students into college-level work in math. There are examples of significant improvements in student learning and completion rates in co-requisite courses when compared with other forms of developmental education. This presentation will demonstrate how Pearson Data and Analytics Services uses analytics to support collaboration among co-requisite instructors and other academic specialists, while also providing early alerts and predictive analytics for students demonstrating at-risk behaviors. This solution, which goes into pilot Fall 2018, is designed to support institutions scale co-requisite programs, reach developmental student success goals, systematically improve instructional design, and add richness to instructor collaboration and the student experience.
